Caretaking & Grounds Service
We look after an area of Torfaen the size of several hundred football pitches.
What do we do?
We cut the grass, look after hedges and trees, deal with litter, fly-tipping, and a lot more. It’s a large area to cover so if we’ve missed something you can let us know by contacting us. You can view the calendar of grounds maintenance and cleansing work for 2024 broken into months below.

We inspect all our trees regularly on a risk-first basis. We inspect some more frequently due to the potential for risks in the future.
Please be aware we do not carry out work on trees for the following reasons: roots in drains, overhanging branches / encroaching roots leaf fall, shading including photovoltaic panels, obstruction of a view, to improve television, broadband, telephone, and satellite reception, honeydew or “sap” deposits, bird droppings, and the dispersal/fall of items from trees such as acorns, nuts, berries, and blossom.
Trees are an animal’s natural habitat, and we will not remove a tree for this reason. Your home was accepted on the understanding that there was a tree present within the surrounding area or garden of the property.
