Who are we?

We’re a not-for-profit social enterprise, registered social landlord and community mutual organisation.

What we do

We manage and maintain over 8,000 homes across Torfaen. But we do so much more than that. We work hard with our partners to help make a real difference to the lives of people in our communities.

We're all about.

Our Strategy

Bron Afon exists to provide high quality homes in strong and thriving communities.

Our core purpose has never been more important. As a leading partner in a network of organisations, we work with people who want to make a difference in the communities where they live. We have had conversations with our customers, colleagues, partners, and board members to develop our corporate strategy, which sets out our priorities, and will guide us through the next five years.

The Welsh Government has published its interim regulatory judgement on Bron Afon.

Salary Benchmark

Since April 2017, Community Housing Cymru (CHC) has shared a pay report for managers in Welsh housing groups.

Welsh Language Scheme

Bron Afon follows the rule that Welsh and English must be treated equally when doing public business in Wales.

WHQS & Dowry

In 2024/25 Bron Afon has received £5.8 million in dowry gap funding from the Welsh Government which will be spent on WHQS improvement schemes.
