I’ve been assessed by an OT, how long will I need to wait for my adaptations?

If you have been assessed by an OT and they have recommended a major adaptation for you, e.g. stairlift, level access shower, ramp, then this will have been added to our adaptations list.

We prioritise this list in order of urgency, which will have been decided by the OT.  A standard major adaptation is currently taking up to 12 months to action. If you feel that your situation has become worse since your referral, please call your OT (or the person that recommended your adaptation, as this may not have been an OT at Bron Afon) to discuss this further.
