How do I add or remove an occupant from my account?

During your contract you may ask us to add or remove occupants from your property details.

If you need to tell us that someone has moved in or out of your home you can fill in the form here. If you’re adding someone as an occupant, we’ll also need to see some photographic ID for them eg. a driving license.  You can upload a photograph of the ID and submit this with your form. 

We will make sure that the proposed occupant is not an existing contract holder of ours.  If they are an existing contract holder we can still add them as an occupant but they will need to provide four weeks notice to quit their contract.  

If they are a former contract holder who has former debt this will not stop them from being added as an occupant but they will need to set up a payment plan to clear the outstanding balance.  

We will also confirm that adding a new occupant will not create overcrowding.  If granting the request would mean your property becomes overcrowded, we will decline your application and give you advice on how to find a larger home.
