We recognise the many benefits that owning a pet can bring. You need our permission to have a pet in your home. Your pet cannot be an animal listed in the Dangerous Dog Act 1991 or the Schedule of the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976.
We also appreciate the impact that irresponsible owners can have on the quality of life in our communities. We can remove permission if your pet is causing disturbance to others or is possibly dangerous. We can also remove permission if there is a cause for concern about your pet’s welfare.
