Helping Working Families

The Helping Working Families project is a partnership between Bron Afon Community Housing and The National Lottery.

Is there at least one person in your home who has a full-time or part-time job, or is self-employed and supporting one child under the age of 18? Are you struggling to make ends meet? Through our Helping Working Families project, we’re keen to improve the lives of families in Torfaen who are working but may need to make their money go further.

Can you help? We’d love to hear your ideas for activities that will benefit working families. Things like:

• Cooking on a budget
• Making your money go further
• Growing fruit and veg
or anything else you think would be helpful.

It is open to any family living in Torfaen where there is at least one person in the home who is employed on a full time, part time or zero hours contract, with a child under the age of 18. As well as those who are self-employed.

We need the Working Families within Torfaen to help us identify what projects and initiatives are required to assist the residents with in Torfaen.
