Your gas service and electrical checks are very important. They keep you, your family, your neighbours’ and community safe.
Every 12 months, by law, we have to check the safety of the gas appliances and gas supply in our homes. We also complete our electrical checks every five years.
These checks make sure that everything’s running well, as well as helping to keep you safe by finding any leaks or faults.
How will I get an appointment?
When your gas service or electrical check is due, we will send you an appointment in the post. We will send your appointment in advance, giving you plenty of time to let us know if it’s not a good time for you.
Can I change my appointment?
If you need to change the date or time of your gas appointment you can let us know by filling in our online form and we will contact you to agree a new date or time.
Please try to let us know ahead of the date of your first appointment so that we don’t turn up as planned.
If you or anyone in your home is self-isolating, we will follow Welsh Government guidelines and won’t carry out any safety checks until the isolation period is over.
