Under the Immigration. Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, we are required by law to make document checks on every potential new employee. We may not be able to offer you a job if you are unable to prove that you are legally allowed to work in the United Kingdom. We do ask if you have any convictions. You must disclose unspent convictions, county court judgements or civil action that has or is being taken against you. Please let us know at the earliest opportunity as we look at each conviction on its own merit. As part of the process you may be asked to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check if it is relevant to the role you are applying for.
