What can I get involved in?

Complaints learning forum

We want to provide a good service at all times to our customers, but sometimes things do go wrong.

Our Complaints Learning Forum meets six times a year, by joining them, you can help us learn how to do things better in the future.

Afon youth - giving young people a voice

Our Youth forum is perfect for young people who are passionate about getting involved in topics that matter to them! Afon Youth take the lead on a range of interesting projects so if you are aged between 11-25 and want to make a difference, then get involved.

Equality and diversity reference group

No matter who you are, we want to make sure that you have the same opportunities in life as everyone else.

To help shape how we make this happen both now and in the future, then join our Equality and Diversity Reference Group.

Community journalists

There are fantastic things going on that make you proud to live in your community, and we need Community Journalists to help tell those stories.

You could help us to do this, using your words and pictures to shine a spotlight on the good deeds and work going on in your community.

Virtual voices

Want to get involved but can’t get to meetings?

Sign up to be a Virtual Voice and we will contact you online so it’s simple and quick to share your views from your computer, tablet or smartphone.

Mutual futures

Everyone has an equal voice at a Mutual Futures meeting. There are plenty of opportunities to discuss how we should be run. Plus, there’s a chance to ask the board and senior managers questions about our performance.

As one of our customers, you are best placed to help us look at what we’re doing right and what we could do better

The Tenant Services Forum is your opportunity to share your thoughts and to help us come up with ideas to make us work better for you.

Scrutiny team

If you can see a better way to get things done come and challenge us and help spot ways to make us better.

Our Scrutiny Team meet once a month for a deep dig into our services. Your recommendations will change the way we do things!

Leasehold links

If you’re a leaseholder there are many easy ways to have your say on the policies and procedures that affect you.

We can also help you with guidance and training to develop as a landlord.

Community groups

Community groups have made a real difference to communities and people’s lives. We can help you set up a group.

Big or small, the contributions of your group will benefit the wider community around you, and we’ll give you the support, guidance and training you’ll need to help you and your community to reach its goals.

Afon retirement forum

If you want to make sure that our services are right, or help us improve, then come along and join our Afon Retirement Forum.

It’s a friendly group of tenants and residents, aged over 55, who are always glad to see new members.

The Board

The Board set our strategic direction and is accountable to our members. As a member you’ll be able to question the board over decisions they make.
