“If you pay by Direct Debit you may receive an email from us. This is nothing to worry about. It is simply saying that in future we will contact you via e-mail instead of by letter if there are changes to your Direct Debit.
“If we hold a mobile number for you then you may also start to receive a reminder a couple of days before we take the payments from your account. In the future, we also hope to reduce the amount of notice you need to give to change your Direct Debit from twelve to five working days.
