My Bron Afon

Adeiladu cartrefi

Mae argyfwng tai yng Nghymru ac rydym yn falch o fod yn helpu Llywodraeth Cymru trwy adeiladu 450 o gartrefi fforddiadwy newydd dros y blynyddoedd i ddod.

Rydym bob amser yn chwilio am gyfleoedd datblygu ac adnewyddu newydd ac rydym eisoes wedi dangos ein harbenigedd trwy weithio’n llwyddiannus mewn partneriaeth â datblygwyr, perchnogion tir ac asiantau, naill ai i adeiladu neu adnewyddu adeiladau i greu cartrefi.

Os ydych chi’n meddwl bod gennych safle neu adeilad a allai fod o ddiddordeb, cysylltwch â’n tîm datblygu ar newbuildland@bronafon.org.uk

Cadwch lygad ar y dudalen hon am ein bod yn ei defnyddio i rannu newyddion ar yr hyn sy’n digwydd ar ein safleoedd. Gallwch ddarllen am rai o’n straeon llwyddiannus diweddar isod.

Tŷ Newidiadau

Ty Newidiadau

We have been delighted to work with Engie Construction in the development of 12 innovative, energy efficient new apartments for young people. The apartments, which will support young people who are, or are at risk of homelessness, were developed using Innovation Grant Funding from WG. This has enabled us to build three sets of apartments using different models of modern methods of construction (MMC). Two were built using two difference types of straw bale (Modcell Core and Modcell TAM) and  a third was built using
Structural Insulated Panels.

Oakfield Grange

Working in partnership with Lovell and with Welsh Government providing 58% of the funding, we have been busy building 23 new family homes at the new Oakfield Grange site. So far 8 new properties have been handover over to families from Torfaen.   The original site was formally Oakfield Primary School.

Henry Hughes House

Henry Hughes House

Built in 1923 and named after the owner and publisher of the Pontypool Free Press, Henry Hughes House is the oldest steel frame building in Pontypool. Working in partnership with P&P Building Contractors, and with £559,480 of Welsh Government’s Vibrant and Viable Places funding, we were delighted to be able to bring Henry Hughes House back to life, creating 9 contemporary and affordable homes (flats).  Built ‘with the community -for the community’ the Henry Hughes House development also created 6 fixed term, construction related trade apprenticeships , including a 64 week placement for an older upskilling apprentice carpenter, one full time job and an 8 week placement for a school leaver. Key features of this historic building such as the iconic ‘Keep the Free Press’ sign at the rear of the building were carefully preserved in recognition and respect of the historical importance of this beautiful building.

Mount Road

Mound road

Working with Jistcourt South Wales Ltd and with financial support from Welsh Government of a 58% grant, we built one 3 bed and five 2 bed homes for families in Mount Road Trevethin.

Old Market House, Pont-y-pŵl

Market House Pontypool

Gan weithio gydag R&M Williams i drawsnewid un o’r adeiladau hynaf ym Mhont-y-pŵl yn gyfan gwbl, fe wnaethom greu chwe chartref newydd a gofod masnachol. Mae’r adeilad rhestredig Gradd II yn dyddio o 1730 a thros y blynyddoedd bu’n gartref i nifer o fusnesau, yn cynnwys siop gwerthu offer swyddfa, siop ddillad a siop nwyddau ail law. Cafodd ei agor yn swyddogol ar 14 Mehefin gan Rebecca Evans AC, y Gweinidog Tai ac Adfywio.

Bryn Pabi - Blenheim Road, Cwmbrân

Gan weithio gyda Holbrook Construction a nawdd grant o 58% gan Lywodraeth Cymru, aethom ati i adeiladu tri thŷ â dwy ystafell wely ac un tŷ â thair ystafell wely. Fe wnaethom hefyd weithio i wella’r ardal drwy dirlunio’r tir o flaen y cartrefi newydd.

Elmhurst Close, Trefddyn

Gan weithio gyda Holbrook Construction a nawdd grant o 58% gan Lywodraeth Cymru, aethom ati i adeiladu 2 dŷ a 2 fflat. Mae’r cartrefi newydd hyn wedi gwella’r ardal, gan waredu ar ardal a oedd ag enw drwg am dipio anghyfreithlon.

Gwesty’r Commodore, Cwmbrân

Datblygwyd y safle preifat, masnachol hwn gan Butler Wall Homes. Fel rhan o’u hymrwymiad i ddarparu cartrefi fforddiadwy, fe wnaethom brynu chwe eiddo oddi wrthynt. Mae pedwar yn cael eu rhentu gennym ni ar gyfer rhentu cymdeithasol a dau ar gyfer rhentu canolraddol.

Kennard Court, Blaenafon

Fe wnaethom weithio mewn partneriaeth gyda Bwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Aneurin Bevan a Chyngor Torfaen i ddefnyddio grant gan Lywodraeth Cymru i adeiladu chwe byngalo wedi eu haddasu’n bwrpasol i bobl ag anghenion ychwanegol.

37 Clarence Street, Pont-y-pŵl

Mewn partneriaeth â Chyngor Torfaen a chronfa adfywio Lleoedd Llewyrchus Llawn Addewid, Llywodraeth Cymru, aethom ati i drawsnewid yr adeilad hwn i greu dwy fflat un ystafell wely.

Y Greyhound, Pont-y-pŵl

The former Greyhound Pub Pontypool

Fe wnaethom weithio gydag R&M Williams i drawsnewid yr hen dafarndy hanesyddol hwn ym Mhont-y-pŵl, i greu 4 fflat newydd ac uned fasnachol.
