“As part of our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy we will be looking at ways to achieve gender equality and are proud to support partners, such as Chwarae Teg, who are working to ensure that women in Wales can enter the workplace, develop their skills and build rewarding careers.
“Chwarae Teg’s Not Just for Boys initiative gives girls an opportunity to find out more about different career options across a variety of industries and sectors before they set about choosing their GCSE subjects. The girls will have a chance to meet role models from the different sectors and to try their hands at engineering, digital and other skills that they might never have tried before.
“The initiative is moving online, providing free 1 hour webinars for girls who are interested in careers within Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). You can join Chwarae Teg for discussions with inspiring women working within STEM Industries, discover what ‘a day in a life’ looks like working in a STEM industry and how they have been working in the fight against COVID-19.
“Be inspired by their career journeys that will inspire the future generations and have the opportunity to ask the role models any questions around their careers.”
