A tenants’ survey has revealed that over 80% (83%) of people who rent from Bron Afon Community Housing are satisfied with their home. Five hundred tenants in Torfaen were telephoned during November and asked for their views on Bron Afon.
Almost 80% (79%) where satisfied with the overall service provided by Bron Afon and half of them (49%) said they were very satisified.
Almost 90% (89%) of tenants said the attitude of staff was very good and 90% also said trade staff who worked in their home did a great job of keeping dirt and mess to a minimum.
Duncan Forbes, Chief Executive, said: “Staff have been really pleased with these results especially as we are coming up to the one year anniversary of the transfer of 8,000 homes from Torfaen Council. Some of the results are brilliant and were described by the researchers who did the survey as having a ‘wow’ factor.
“Tenants voted in favour of stock transfer so it was crucial that we got it right. Our staff have worked incredibly hard to make sure that services continued without any major problems and these results shows that we achieved this.
