Policies

An organisation as large as Bron Afon with over 8,000 homes to manage, cannot function effectively without statements - policies - on how it will provide its services. We employ over 400 members of staff, and our policies help us give a consistent service.
 
All our policies are reviewed on a regular (often three-yearly) basis or, for example, when changes in the law require us to alter something in a policy.

Involvement in the development of policies

We feel it is very important that tenants can contribute to policies that affect them directly. There are a number of ways to get involved in the development of policies: 
  • Through the Sounding Board which is open to anyone living in Torfaen.
  • Through the Membership Committee which comprises elected representatives from each of the Community Forums.
