Supporting older people to live independently

Bron Afon’s Support Service has a new contract from Torfaen’s Supporting People to provide low level, free support to  persons 50 years of age and over who live in Torfaen.
 
The new service, which was launched in April 2012, aims to enable people to take control of their lives and live the life they choose, where they choose.
 
One major aspect of the support service is to help people overcome any barriers which may impact their ability to be independent.
