Blaenavon residents can tell Bron Afon Community Housing where it should be doing work to make the town a better place to live. The first meeting of Blaenavon’s community forum is being held in Hillside Primary School on Tuesday 11 November at 9.30am.
Bron Afon owns large areas of land across Torfaen, as well as 8,000 homes, and wants to get the views of local people as it plans to spend money to bring benefits to the whole community.
Bron Afon has set up a Blaenavon Community Team who will work with local people to address local priorities. Members of the team will be at the meeting in November.
Claire Dullea, Community Housing Officer, said: “We are committed to not just looking after the bricks and mortar of the homes in which people live. We are keen to work with tenants and residents across Torfaen to support their communities.”
Anyone who wants to go to the meeting, should call the Community Involvement Team on 0800 111 42 42.
